Delivery Support Offsite Technician


The successful candidate will report to the Delivery Support for all offsite activities.  It is estimated that the travel requirement should be in the region of 2 weeks of every month, although during periods of high demand more travel may be required.  When there is no offsite travel required, the successful candidate will report to TAS production team. 

Key tasks:

  • Availability to travel at short notice to attend retrofit activities at global customer MRO/OEM sites.
  • Implementation of Service Bulletins at customer sites in accordance with P145 Regulations.
  • Support TAS Sales team by setting up and demonstrating TAS seats at customer locations.

The above list is not exhaustive and the scope of the job will grow with experience and additional tasks may be required as and when business needs change.

Skills / Experience:

  • 1 year experience within a TAS manufacturing environment and detailed knowledge of seat final assembly techniques and cosmetic requirements.
  • A high level of technical knowledge and the ability to apply this knowledge to solve practical problems.
  • Good oral and written communication skills and confidence in dealing with customers in a professional manner.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Precise and concise written communication skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • The ability to work on own initiative but also as part of a team.
  • Organisational/preparational skills, such as time and resource planning.


  • P145 training.
  • Human Factors training.
  • A technical/engineering qualification.
  • Previous experience of the Aerospace industry.
